Presentation of Awards Evening
The off road motorcycle
section of the Mid Antrim Motor Club Ltd in conjunction with the trials
committee of the M.C.U.I.(UC) are delighted to announce details of their prize
distribution evening.
At this special event the
awards for the Michelin Mid Antrim Trials Championship, the J.P.Corry Slemish
Cup trial and the Shane Cup trial will be given out together with all awards
for the M.C.U.I. Ulster and Irish Championships including the summer series.

We are delighted to have Alexz Wigg, World Junior Trials Champion as
our special guest to present the awards. Alexz dominated the early rounds of
the championship so making his points tally unbeatable that he left the
championship early to compete at the senior level in the later rounds. His
minder for the campaign was of course our own former
The original trophy
disappeared many years ago, in fact during my now 40 year’s involvement with
this club I have never seen the original trophy. The Crawford family have
decided to donate a new Shane Cup to the club, in memory of their son Barrie.
This new trophy will be presented at the awards evening.
Tickets for this special
evening are available now costing £8 for adult and £5 for youth. To facilitate
catering this will be a ticket only event, so please don’t be disappointed, get
your’s early. Available from Mid Antrim committee members and through the
website.
